The College and Career Readiness Standards have raised interest in assisting students to read with appropriate rate and accuracy. The presenter shares three strategies to help students read better and faster, using examples for beginning-advanced learners: Timed reading, Say Something and Making Connections. Ideas for incorporating these strategies are shared.
