I've worked with 60+ nationalities ranging from ages 6-60. I'm certified to teach English, ELL, Spanish, & French grades 7-12 in Nevada. I work in Las Vegas now, but I have taught in Memphis, TN, Montreal, Canada, & Poitiers, France. As a researcher, I'm passionate about Sociolinguistics, Corpus Linguistics, and equity. I believe that leveraging students' home languages/dialects is the best way to help them produce academic discourse and advocate for themselves.
