A native of Guangzhou, China, John loves language studies and enjoys exploring theory and practice in language learning and teaching! He currently teaches in the graduate and undergraduate TESOL programs at Biola University, La Mirada, California. Before joining the faculty at Biola, he directed an ESL program in the University of California, Riverside Learning Center. John is very active in practitioner research and is a frequent presenter at the TESOL and CATESOL conferences. His current research interests lie in pedagogical ESL grammar, ESL materials, second language reading and writing, and technology-enhanced language learning.
